Owner and founder Darren Crannis, a Master of Electronic & Electrical Engineering graduated from Loughborough University in 2004. Worked as an Electronic & Electrical Engineer and a Test Engineer in the Communications sector for various high-tech companies such as Allied Telesis & Motorola before becoming an Engineering Consultant in Information Technology to various small IT companies delivering projects in the South of England.
With over 10 years experience in designing, project managing and delivering electronic, electrical & technical projects up to £100k in value, Crannis Technology Services Ltd was formed, employing only certified engineers who are not only trained to the highest standards, but can think outside the box – therefore having one clear vision – to expertly design, plan & deliver Electrical & Technical projects to clients to the highest possible standards.
Darren is proud to be a Member of the Insitute of Engineering & Technology (MIET), IET BS7671:2008 qualified (17th Edition of the Electrical Installation Regulations), Part-P accredited (ELECSA Part-P Approved Contractor, EPP37501) and an approved ECS CSCS Maintainance Electrician & Advanced Datacomms Specialist.
Outside of work, Darren is a keen rugby fan, cyclist & triathlete. Darren is married to Ceri Crannis, a Product Design practitioner & Head of Department at a local secondary school. They have two wonderful dogs, Rufus & Trixie.
